Bank of America HomeOwnership Center

A Flash application running in a gigantic 20” x 40” Samsung Liquid Crystal Display with an integrated touch screen provides a groundbreaking and engaging research experience to prospective home buyers. The HOC is set for deployment in Bank of America branches and associated mortgage brokers nationwide.

The product is an exciting intersection between sexy, high end advertising and robust application development that is unique in any marketplace. The display represents a new way of engaging consumers by deploying deep, real time database services on large-format, digital signage kiosks with full-screen interaction.

Each kiosk is configured for its local market but is also connected to a central national database providing real time data, images, maps, mortgage rates, local bank loan officers and local real estate agents. Data is accessed from a MS SQL Server via Flash Remoting, .NET and C# for instant access to the most up-to-date information. Kiosks are married to a robust web-based admin so bank officials can feature local inventory, update properties, images and remotely control their kiosks.

Browse properties featured by the bank in Featured Properties mode. Browse properties offered within a REBO MLS. The kiosk will build the banks brand within the REBO and thus increase the number of leads and mortgages processed by bank.

Imagery here does not portray actual animation. View a web-based demonstration of the Flash application with live data from the server. This will only work correctly in current browser versions. http://demov2.informationlogix.com/demo

Display Modes

Idle Display Mode
Idle Display mode functions when there is no interaction with the kiosk. This mode mixes motion graphics imagery and real time data luring passersby into interacting with the kiosk. The kiosk cycles through a display of Featured Properties, MLS Properties, Mortgage Rates, and Loan Officers. Above a remotely-controlled marquee scrolls across the screen with the banks current message. Idle Display Mode is automatically triggered after the kiosk has been without interaction for a programmable amount of time.

Blackboard Mode
The kiosk can also be triggered remotely into Blackboard Mode. This is a static mode that displays a larger message programmed by that bank.

Inactive Display Mode
Inactive Display mode allows a Remote Administrator to display custom messaging such as “system is undergoing maintenance” on the HOC.

Interactive Mode
Interactive Mode (standard mode) is activated either by a user touching the screen or the triggering of a proximity sensor. The Interactive Mode is the “desktop” of the HOC. Display Modes Featured Properties
